Axis is one of the best dance clubs I have been to, special emphasis on the "Dance" part. The party goers here do not sit around! The floor is packed and the diverse clientele gives it a really fun and high energy atmosphere.

I have been going to axis for about 2 1/2 years so I know my limits when it comes to how much I drink. I went this past Saturday and was roofied and I am 99% sure it was a bartender because our group never leaves our drinks unattended, after reading the other reviews someone must do something about this.

This used to be a great dance bar. The lighting system is really good. DJing is usually good. Unfortunately now more a show bar, with little opportunity for dancing. Bartending is not too bad. But cleanliness is just awful. One recent night we arrived just at opening in order to meet others. Floor was already insanely sticky and bathroom was yucky. Just gross. Buy a steam cleaner and do the floors EVERY day before opening.

I love this club, the ambience is amazing and they have nightly drag shows. The only downside is the steep entrance fee of $15!! It's only gone up over the years. Also be warned the drinks are VERY strong, they're doubles.

This is not an all welcoming place anymore. We were going to give it another shot for NYE but they wanted $40 PER PERSON just to walk in the door?! I guess getting roofied and assaulted comes with a hefty price tag these days. We went across the street to union instead which was free like every other bar on high street and had a great time!Also after reading these other reviews we will never step foot in here again. Disgusting.

Went here for New Years Eve and to say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. The fact that they made us wait 2 minutes extra to change the "new rate" for admission was absurd all while it was below freezing outside. Thankfully we brought a coat... but the coat would ultimately be the demise of the night as when we get in there with no warning regarding the coat locker was closed... We were forced to carry our full sized winter coats around a club that was burning hot. Absolutely terrible planning on the businesses part. Then for the ball drop count down this place really dropped the ball and they dropped it hard... they were off by several minutes on the ball drop because the drag queen needed to get her 2 cents in on the mic... absolutely awful experience. Don't recommend this place at all. It used to be fun, NOT ANYMORE...

Was never like the Axis before. NYE, 30 degrees and they decided to close down jacket storage. Missed the count down by 1 minute. Haven't been back for a while, and found out it is a mistake

terrible, they tried to say my sister was drinking when she wasn't. she was underage and she said that and gave them her ID and then they threw us out when I was over age and drinking
