“always hot. food is never premade. always good food love the home fires. steak always cooked correctly the way you ask for. There morning breakfast eggs also cooked to order correctly. waffles are fluffy an never precooked. I've never been desapointed in the service.“
“Creole and Cajun food fanatic here. I spend a LOT of time in New Orleans and Montréal (a great Creole food city as well.) The gumbo was as good as I've had in a long time- the secret is getting that smoke in there and you did it. My girlfriend had the vegan chili-phenomenal. Nice people and location. Can't wait to return!“

“I give this soul food restaurant a 10 out of 10. I live an hour and a half from Columbus, Ohio. The customer service is amazing, with a very friendly atmosphere. The food is amazing; the red beans are like no other, the chicken is cooked to perfection, as well as the collard greens and shrimp. If you are in this area, I highly recommend this spot.“

“I’m so impressed with this gem! I love NOLA food and culture and Way Down Yonder nailed it. The food was amazing, and the coffee and beignets are to die for. Not only is the food good, but the staff is so friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I truly can’t wait to come back. We have a 2+ hour drive and it’s worth it. WELL DONE!“
