Cajun Boil Bar-161 Location

The boil was astounding and very filling. Definitely be back.

I enjoyed being here and will go again the next time I crave the Cajun boil recipe.

Cici was an amazing waitress. She was quick with refills, so kind and made us feel very welcome. We got the build your own bag and the A-1 boil too. Highly recommend the house sauce. It was amazing with the boil. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot. The sweet corn bread muffins were a nice palate cleanser at the end of my meal. I would 100% come back next time Im in town. I wish we had one where I live.

Very friendly staff and nice decor with plenty of seating.
I do not recommend the calamari, which was the worst I have ever had. It was like a bicycle intertube. I did appreciate the military discount.

Place sucks. Brice Rd location is better. 161 location keeps messing up orders, will not put online orders in correctly or at all, and staff generally not so helpful.

When we first entered, the host was really inconvenienced we walked in and they had to do their job. He barely looked at us or said hello. Laid down the menus before we even sat down and couldn’t wait to walk off without saying anything. We sat for a good 7 mins before I said something about being greeted. When the server finally did come over she was ok nothing special. At one point I saw her on a personal call, put the phone down and said “hold up” to whoever was on the phone, give her other table something then came back on the phone like “what was you saying” in my opinion, just unprofessional to say the least.

If the food had also been trash we would’ve walked out or complained but since the food was delicious we stayed. It was my birthday and i thought it was going to make my night but overall it was just mediocre. The front of house staff need some training on their customer service and people skills.

Hats off to the chef though.

Employees ignored us and had to clear tables once ppl left and could have helped us place our to go order while waiting for tables to clear not making us wait as if we were dining in!
I told the man I wanted 2 orders of eggs, potatoes and corn (each had a qty of 3)
He said how many total do you want. When I wanted to orders which isn't total of each the kid just couldn't get it together and the girl who never wanted to help us found her way to come sit and play on her phone and not help the boy but talk personally to him!

Absolutely love this location I haven’t tried the other but the snow crab and potato’s r SOOOOOOOO GOODDDDDD a little pricey but what crab isn’t? Servers ain’t the best but food makes up for it THERES A AUTOMATIC GRATUITY FOR 6+ GROUPS

I was in a party of 6 with some friends. We are from out of town and were coming to enjoy dinner together and have a good time. When we got here, we were told to wait while the table was put together which is completely fine. When we were finally sat, around 5 or so minutes later, it took our waitress around 5-10 minutes to come get our drink orders. She the proceeded to leave our 2 margaritas on the bar for a solid 10+ minutes. When we finally received the drinks, they were almost flavorless from being watered down. She almost actively avoided us for the next 20 minutes or so until our apps finally came out. From the time we ordered drinks until our apps came out, one of our party was waiting on her first Pepsi. Our food took another 10 or so minutes to come out. 2 of our party ordered pasta and had to wait another 5-10 minutes just to receive silverware. With a party of 6, they are automatically receiving 18% gratuity, which it seems our waitress thought to mean she could ignore us while she barely served the smaller groups at a slightly quicker pace. Other patrons around us were also heard to be complaining about the same waitress. Overall, the food was great but the service has been some of the worst I have ever witnessed. Myself and another member of our group have worked in service, so we know what the requirements are for good service.

Not to happy with the hush puppies a little to raw and greasy to me? Alligator bites not to bad besides the tail of the shrimp was one I bit into😑 the boil was great a Lil cold but good wasn't happy with the crayfish. Service was great though!!
