Calanley Somalia Restaurant truly delivers amazing food! I had their rice with goat meat and chicken barbecue stew, and everything was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the stew had a rich, authentic taste that brought everything together. You can really tell they put love and care into their cooking. If you’re looking for tasty Somali dishes with generous portions and great flavor, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
Tried this restaurant for the first time. Upon entering I was skeptical about eating there because of the disorganization and many flies. I stayed because the reviews I read were good and my wife is Somali and has been adamant about me trying Somali food since she cant cook it?.The service was decent and the food was delicious. I loved the soup. It was my first time trying camel and it reminded me of pot roast. It was a bit dry but still good. I would have preferred it simmering...
My husband and I had a amazing lunch. I had goat for the first time in my life and it was OOOWEEE GOOD! We had the BEST customer service, some great ginger tea. We also shopped around for a few things. We will be coming back.. Update a couple hours later : we came right back for a cup of that ginger tea lol
