“I think this is the best place around Columbus with great Caribbean food. We purchase the Jerk and Curry Goat. It was excellent. The patties taste like they were made fresh and not frozen. Like my mother was back there cooking. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We will be back.“
“I’ve order from Mi Yaad on UE a few times before and I really enjoy their sides and Mild Beef Patties. I actually found them because my normal spot routinely runs out of patties, and my cravings led me to continue searching. My food arrives hot, securely packaged and full of flavor! The Mac and Cheese is more of a casserole style, while the cheese pull I usually look for isn’t really there, it doesn’t take away from the taste. Their potato salad is some of the best I’ve had - well seasoned. And the Patties are buttery and flaky and just outright delicious!“
“Been trying to get to this place since it opened up for about a year I called early around 11 she had but I wanted. I got there at 11:30. It was no way for my food. She literally took her time to Bagget very carefully so nice wonderful place to visit. The food was amazing. Will be back soon. Thanks guys for good customer service.“
“Stopped by to try out their food after hearing about it on an old DDD episode. Initially planned on dining in, but upon arrival saw that they only had 3 Cafe tables, so I ordered take-out to take to our hotel lobby. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with Collards & Rice w/peas. My wife got the Curry Chicken with White rice & Cabbage. Both dishes were very good. If I lived in Columbus, I'd go again to try some other dishes.“
“1st time eating here and I will be back! The j**** brown stew chicken w/ rice & peas, cabbage and Mac is the bomb!! Best food I have had in a long time. They did not disappoint at all. The portion size is just enough too for the money. They delivered style and grace with love in their food! Highly recommend!They forgot my Mac and I called and the guys was just so nice about it. My son was not going to eat until he got the Mac and we were definitely pleased with everything. The Mac hits DIFFERENT. Rated #1 in my book!! Great work guys, keep it up!!! I hate spending my money on nasty food. However, I was happy to spend it here and will again and again!! ☺️“

“My mother and father are both from Puerto Rico and I lost my mom in February so it’s just me and my dad. We both miss her food soooo much. I was hoping this place was going to be good and when I say it exceeded every expectation I had. We both loved it and I only paid $20 for two meals! “Had Oxtails, Jerk Chicken, Beef patty, rice and peas, and cabbage. EVERYTHING WAS A HIT!!! Great, from stretch food. You can taste the love in the dishes. The staff was nice and the wait was quick even with a constant line coming through! Definitely see why they have the reviews they do!“
“I love this place. The staff was awesome and food was great. I went there before a concert and after a show next door. The Jamaican Patties are awesome!!!!! They are great before and after you drink. The food wasn’t over priced. The Jamaican slaw is not the mayonnaise version. That’s a big plus for me. I was just in town for the concert. If I lived closer I would go there often.“
“A true taste of Santo Domingo in Columbus: San cocho, chicharrones, plantains. This is a mom and pop greasy spoon! Expect loud bachata and merengue playing in the background complete with fans blowing at high speed. You feel like you are in the DR- trust me, I used to live there. I wouldn't want it any other way. “I ordered okra soup, collard greens, dibi lamb and sticky rice!!! It was AMAZING LIKE unreal good!!! I’m litterally upset that I’ve went this long not having OKRA SOUP FROM HERE!! BEST IN THE CITY HANDS DOWN!! Food was fresh hot and DELICIOUS !!my 14 year old son almost ate the lamb bones lol collard greens had a lot of meat it was sooooooo good!! That OKRA SOUP BABY!! Unbelievably good!! I also want to thank the friendly people who work there! Very polite and just all around positive vibes!! Great people GREAT FOOD LIKE THE BEST!!! “The service here was lovely, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Very family friendly, I could tell the staff wanted you to enjoy the experience. The food was delicious. I have never had any of these dishes, and the menu offers a picture menu via QR code, which was very helpful. The yucca fries are very good!“
