I come here at least 4 times a month. And almost all my visits are exclusively for the buffet on Sunday. The other 6 days of the week do not have buffet. The menu items are good. I love the seafood panfried noddle. One thing stands out is the items are overpriced. The quality is not bad, they are very decent but not worth the price. China Dynasty seems to want to be perceived as fine-dining. The atmosphere is nice, quiet and clean! Very clean for sure. But the food quality is not fine-dining level. The staffs are nice. Some middle age waiters/waitresses don't talk much to you but they are attentive. There is one regular waitress (she looks Caucasian but I think I heard she spoke Chinese to her coworkers) that is nice. Overall people there are nice. There are 3 people who I think are either owners or managers: One middle-age Asian man and Two middle-age Asian women. The man is more in the background, I sometimes see him occasionally check on the staff and do paperwork. Both of the women are very professional and nice. They talk to the customers a lot. The Sunday Buffet is worth it in my opinion. After tax is $19 something. The buffet has about 20 items including crab legs. The foods are very nice and not greasy like the other (cheap) Asian buffet. In short, only come here for the buffet on Sundays. Try that. You will see a difference to the other buffet places in CBus area

Best Chinese food buffet on Sundays! I use to go a lot when I lived in town. I hope you get a chance to check it out.

Admittedly, the author is a soy sauce junkie. A life in Bklyn, leaves one taking chinese food for granted. Its ubiquitous, everywhere, cheap, delivered, taken out, gingered, garliced, scallioned, blissfulness. One can be unprepared for the Chinese food drought that is - Columbus OH. Not for lack of trying mind you, not at all. A relocation, years in an executive sled circling 270, trying Chinese restaurants all over central Ohio is worthy research. But there's only one inevitable conclusion. And If you think its obvious, that there's no good Chinese food in Columbus, you'd be wrong. China Dynasty, in the Lane Ave mall, in upper Arlington has been a soy sauce oasis in an otherwise desert of chinese food restaurants in Cbus Why? Because they've embraced the fundamental dissonance between NY and Columbus Chinese food. Ginger n garlic n scallion n soy vs. the lesser 5 spice. That cheap, low labor, less skilled substitute. Family run in front and in back, this one deserves all the accolades you'll see at the entrance. Excellent any day of week, even the big buffet on Sundays and holidays. Get some.

Cold, mediocre food overall and the crab legs were hands down the worst we ever had. The staff, however, was very pleasant and attentive. Our waiter, an older gentleman, does need to watch his sleeves when he reaches over plates people are eating off of because we got a plate full of his sleeves and who knows how many other people's plates they might have touched. But again, he was otherwise a very pleasant and I know it was not intentional.

Wayy too expensive for what you get. Almost 20 dollars for the buffet on Sunday. Exact same food you can get at any other Chinese restaurant for 6.95. Typical Chinese food with a luxury price for now reason.

Great place to bring a large group. Plenty of seating and quiet enough to talk.

Staff was rushing, not very attentive or engaging. Food was good, it use to be much better. Price is decent. In and out under 25 minutes and under$10.00 for lunch.

This place has gone so downhill. Don't bother coming. We ordered the Peking Duck and basically we weren't served Peking Duck. The dish usually is comprised of crispy duck skin sliced seperately from the meat. It was basically roast duck with non crisp skin. And at $45, the price was the same as some really good authentic Peking Duck that you can get in the San Francisco Bay Area. Service was stupid slow. Our party of 6 with 2 young kids waited an hour for the rest of our food to come out. The kids were hungry and crying for food. Parties that came in after us were served before us. Despite multiple complaints, they failed to hustle or even apologize!! We were so disappointed and to make matters worse, we were there for a birthday dinner for my sister. So thanks for ruining my sister's birthday dinner China Dynasty. You suck.

Love this place. Fast and friendly service with good food. My go-to is the Mongolian Triple Delights. I probably head over to eat here a couple times per month. They also have a great Mother's Day buffet.

Had a group dinner here for the buffet. Overall, the selection was quite limited compared with some of the other Chinese buffets that I have been. They don't have any station for sushi, etc. In terms of food taste, it was average to me. Shrimp dishes were a little better than the rest. However, personally, I think their dessert station was at least meeting my expectations (for similar type of restaurants). The fruits and cakes were good, especially the tiramisu.

Great service! Excellent buffet on Sunday. They offer a great variety of food on the buffet. It's always fresh and ready to eat. We love the peel and eat shrimp. Everyone is so helpful and nice. They make you feel like your family.
