The spicy hot broth is plently spicey. Start with something mild and spice it yourself.

Absolutely LOVE this place! We come like once a week in the winter. Always get the hot pot. Good stays fresh and tastes so good!!!! Literally a ritual for us. I used to have hot pot when I lived in Boston and love how many options this particular place offers.

I have been eager to try Coco Hotpot for the past few years, and finally got around to it this evening. While it's an impressive display of colorful food, it was much less than I expected. With no direction from the waiter (even though he knew we were first timers) we had no idea of how to combine the right sauces at the condiment buffet. Some of the condiments/sauces tasted like old oil, clearly super old or bad quality. Probably both. We also didn't realize how much we were ordering! He should have warned us. In fact, it seemed like he could care less about our experience. The "soups" to cook the food were bland. We had 3 - chicken, mushroom and the spicy one at medium). The chicken was shaved so thin it almost broke apart picking it up. Thankfully it cooked fast and tasted like what it was. . The beef was ok for " house beef". It was so hard to get any real flavor without over salting things. Even the salt didn't work. The best part of this experience was the company and having 2+ hours of conversation and laughs. Go for the conversation with a good friend and maybe to have some of their prepared foods. The dumpling appetizer was very good! Between the two of us. And no alcohol, our total was $128!! Tip included in total. #nonexttimeforme

I stopped by for lunch with my kids. We got there right at 11am, no issues there.I've not had hot pot previously, so I was a little nervous... but so intrigued!I did some research before, we wanted beef and shrimp for sure. So, our server helped us pick some options. He explained the spice levels, which were spot on, great for my kids. We ordered the chicken broth and the beef fat teddy bear which was fun to watch melt away in the broth, and also the mushroom broth (our favorite one). The beef comes with ample veggies and tofu and the mushroom broth included noodles, also a win for the kids! When the food came out, broth first, you let it get to a boil then add the meats and veggies to cook- we jumped the gun here but our server was keeping and eye and let us know to wait a little longer. We also ordered shrimp paste- sounds funny, it's just ground up shrimp. You cook it in clumps and they turn into little shrimp meatballs that you can add to your soup or do in sauce. They were so good!Everything was fresh, servers were attentive. We will be back!Kid-friendliness: The servers were kind and understanding. They even chatted about the fish in the tanks with them, of which they had many questions.
This experience was amazing and the food was decent. however the service was very disappointing and it was very awkward as they would put our food On the table in a slightly aggressive manner and almost spilled tea on one of my family members. I don’t think my experience should affect you and make you completely dodge this experience. maybe they will be a new set of workers but I think this place has great potential. ?

Not a bad spot if you like Chinese hotpot. Medium spice level was quite spicy, mild would have been a better choice to taste and enjoy your experience.
