I came in this morning around 10am to get an acai bowl and the container is already small but mine this morning was filled up not even half way full. And when I went to ask the worker she was extremely rude and not helpful at all. For the amount of money I am paying for a meal plan this is absurd!

None of the hours at any of the cafés are correct
It is a great coffee shop on campus with a few comfortable seats and study areas.

I recently stopped by Connecting Grounds in Columbus, Ohio, and let me tell you, it was a real treat. The coffee selection was fantastic, with a variety of roasts and brew methods to choose from. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for a chat with friends or a quiet moment of work. But what really stood out was the quality of service - the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every customer was taken care of. Highly recommend for a delicious cup of joe in Columbus!

Great service, good coffee.
Connecting Grounds is a coffee shop in a hub of learning, so it makes sense that is is fairly accessible. I was impressed by the amount of space inside, which is good for those with physical disabilities. There was also a wheelchair button on the outside of the main entrance. The large windows and comfortable noise level of the interior made it a relatively peaceful location to visit, which benefits those with sensory issues or mental health issues. There were also multiple accessible trashcans. The in-person digital ordering machine was on a lower counter, which makes it more accessible as well. There is also a secondary exit which limits foot traffic and crowdedness.
However, there were some small issues. The chairs in the seating area are a bit close together, which might be difficult for those with mobility issues. I also could not find a wheelchair button on the inside of the main entrance, and the doors can be difficult to push open on particularly windy days. If there is one on the inside, it is not easy to find. The pillar in the main area might be difficult to navigate around and makes the space a little more narrow in that area as well. The counter on which orders are placed is a little high but there are lower counters too.
All in all, it was a nice experience.
They got rid of the vegan breakfast sandwich
Coffee is fine, a little better than other campus locations. But it took 37 minutes for a drip coffee. I get that there is a large volume of orders from Grubhub and it's not the employees' fault. But the system is unacceptable when a walk-in customer has to wait nearly forty minutes for someone to fill a cup of pre-brewed coffee. There needs to be a system for walk-in orders to be prioritized and/or simple orders like a drip coffee to be quickly served instead of being put behind more complex orders with food.
Wait is way too long for a coffee shop. 45+ min
