My go to for homemade Chicken-n- dumplings. And the great thing about Cracker Barrel is that you get what you expect. No bad surprises. But some great surprises in the menu recently and in the general store! We have been disappointed with the service on a couple of occasions but we've been there most than a dozen times and most of the time the people are great, service is good, restaurant is clean and the food is great

Took a bit to get food which was ok the quality was not that great some things were cold and again had to ask for refills and waitress came to table and did not take dirty dishes that were literally stacked up in a good fashion so they would take them but she didn’t.

Food is delicious and cooked to order. Been waiting 20 minutes on my check. Still waiting. Dine and dash……

Edit. And once you do receive your check and try to cash out, waitresses will just cut you off in line to collect their tips.

Christian was our host today at the Hilliard location. He was very friendly, showed us the new summer specials, he talked to us as he walked us slowly to our seats. Once he seated us, he waited for us to sit and handed us our menus. He told us to have a nice day. I noticed him doing this every time he sat dining guests. Being handicapped it was nice not to have to “run” to keep up with the host. Excellent work Christian, keep up the great work!!

Waitress amazing Abbi was 100% vreat even the manager came up to greet us which is pretty cool all in all 4* restaurant not a bad spot its quiet and hidden

This Cracker Barrel has the typical charm that Cracker Barrels are known for. The staff was cheerful and attentive. It wasn't busy at all, which my friend even commented on. The food was disappointing and not just this visit. Eggs weren't fluffy, but flat and tasteless, the hash brown casserole was just greasy. I remember it being crispy and like it just came out of a casserole pan. Maybe Cracker Barrel changed the way they make it, but it was just greasy. The french toast was dry. I asked for extra crispy bacon, it wasn't. I was hoping the food would be better tasting from my last experience and it wasn't. I don't think its the cook to blame as this has been 3 separate times over a year on different days and different times. I don't see me eating at Cracker Barrel in the future. But I might stop by to shop, there are always fun items for sale. I normally leaving positive reviews on posts, but I just can't this time.

My waitress acted like she didn’t really want to be there. My sausage was not cooked completely and it tasted funny. I never got a refill and the eggs tasted weird too almost spoiled. Not a good experience for me and I love Cracker Barrel!

The waitress took our order on the silverware holder since she couldn’t find her order pad. She brought water but after 1 hour we had not received our food nor any comments of apology. We went to another restaurant and had our meal in 13 minutes. 🥲
