We loved their ice cream! Bonus points for being open late, which is perfect for that late night sweet tooth. We were thrilled with the friendliness of the two workers. The line went fast and was worth the 8 minute wait. First topping is free, so be sure to take advantage of that offer!

CRMD combines street culture with sweet in their approach to redefining the local ice cream shop. They always have a great hip-hop playlist blasting when you walk in, but the black-and-white brick and neon-accented decor (particularly the Lick It Real Good sign) is what I'm the biggest fan of - besides their ice cream, of course. Cereal & Milk and Fruity Pebbles are neighborhood favorites but the Choco Mars Swirl is my go-to whenever I stop by on a trip back home. Their freshly made warm Puffle - a fun "egg waffle" with a Belgian flavor - is their specialty cone, made to sop up that little pool of melted ice cream that appears on a hot day, but I prefer a standard waffle cone to keep everything cold.

the butter cookie ice cream is 10/10. very limited seating and dark atmosphere, but i feel like that is very common for many places in short north

Ice cream was good and the workers were helpful with offering samples if we wanted any. We mostly went to try the puffles. I got the black vanilla and airplane cookies flavors and were a great combo in the warm puffle. The thing I thought was weird that there were no tables and chairs inside, just window seating on the cushion so we are in our vehicle since it was raining. Also would recommend going during the day. There were lots of homeless ppl around trying to take cover under the awnings of other closed businesses and a few smoking crack which wasn't optimal since I had kids with me. But as far as the ice cream and puffles go, they were really good.

Fantastic ice cream place and the flavors are so unique. Personal favorites are cereal and milk and black vanilla with charcoal ( I think it has coconut) but I could not taste any. It's super cute for aesthetic pictures. Customer service however was not great the guy behind the counter seemed like he was bothered, we were the only ones there. 4 stars ice cream was good though.

We had a friend take us here a few years ago and the puffle has forever ruined ice cream cones! We stopped on the way home from vacation and tbd ice cream selections are always unique and always yummy! I can’t wait to go back the next time we are in the neighborhood!
Staff are unfriendly, the vibes are dark and dingy, and there is no seating at all. the price is expensive for ice cream so you expect the flavors to be good but they’re bland and tasteless. too much food coloring and just fake, waste of money

Omggggg I will def come back again I got the cookie dough in a waffle bread (i forgot what it was called) but omg it was so good. The warmth of the waffle and coldness of the ice cream went hand and hand. Also absorb into the waffle really well too. Im definitely coming back

This place was phenomenal. I tried the cookie budder flavor in a puffle, which is basically a made to order hot waffle that is immediately filled with ice cream. You get a free topping. Our entire family was very pleased.
