This place is a joke. 1st time last time. Was told 30 min wait, seated 1 hr and 15 min later. Should have left but the homeless guy pissing in the corner next door made my wife nervous. Parking sucks. And the parade of beggar’s at 5:30 pm is a nice hurdle to get your family through. We sat down and I swear 20 min later she comes to take out order. We drink water. Paulie Gee's is highly regarded for its pizza, especially its deep dish variety, which many consider some of the best around. The restaurant features a great wood fire oven that produces high-quality, oven-baked pizza. Popular choices include the “ricky too!” and the Post-Oven Ricotta pizza, both praised for their delicious flavors. The menu often offers fun seasonal toppings and cocktails, adding to the enjoyable dining experience. Service can be quick and efficient, though at times it may feel lackluster, and the atmosphere can be lively but quite loud, making conversation difficult. Some reviews mention issues with cleanliness, noting that dishes were sometimes dirty. The restaurant is a favorite for visitors and locals alike, especially those visiting Ohio State University, and tends to fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended. Overall, Paulie Gee’s is celebrated for its high-quality pizza and warm, inviting oven-baked flavors, making it a top choice for pizza lovers in town.
