“We traveled on I-70 and took a short detour to check out this German restaurant. The food was fabulous! We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese, Milder Mama sausage platter, Fat Daddy sandwich, and the kid’s hotdog. The atmosphere felt authentic and service was good. We reserved a table ahead using yelp. I recommend that if you go on a Saturday or at a busy time of year.“

“GREAT PLACE TO EAT! Totally work the 2-1/2hr drive from Cleveland. Their pretzel bites with mustard and beer cheese are AMAZING! The sausages now....well, are EPIC! My favorite is the Bahama Mama! I am not a super spicey food fan but this sausage has the perfect balance and the taste is so flavorful! They do have a Mild Mama which is also very tasty! My second favorite is the Garlic Knockworst. This my friend is a mind blower flavor packed sausage that will make you want more. They also have an all you can eat buffet that you can try all of their sausages, german potatoes, salad, etc. It is not a huge buffet but a ton of GREAT food! Then for dessert, they have homemade cream puffs the size of a softball. I highly recommend this place! It is a family friendly place with plenty of parking.“

“The only downside is that this restaurant is seriously noisy during the busy times.

The food is good and interesting. There's a lot on the menu I don't see every day. The salads are good. The salmon is great. The potato salad and onion rings are excellent. The house beers are very good. I do not recommend the half chicken, it's very plain. The price is very good for the quality and quantity of food I get.

I eat here regularly and the staff are friendly and personable. They remember me and always make me feel welcome. Turnover is very low.

Other than the noise, the only other issue is that parking close is sometimes hard to do. I've always been able to find a spot, but sometimes it's a trek.

The decor is nice and unique. The gift shop has some fun things in it.

I've taken friends out to eat here and it's been a good time. It's a place to take some time and relax. It's not a place to go if you are in a hurry and simply looking for quick bite.“
