Great drive bar. Nice big patio, decent food, cheap drinks
Could not get service. Waited at the bar for over 15 minutes and was told would be right with you. Continuously over-looking me in an obvious manner and taking orders from people behind me. This was both the male and female bartenders. They appeared to only serve people they knew. While standing at the bar directly in front of the kitchen I watched several items being made with bare hands and then “cleaned” them by wiping them on his shirt and pants. Was so hopeful for a local bar to frequent. I would give zero stars if that were an option.

The bar was small. We had a bigger group, so we ended up sitting in the back room. It was very musty in the back area. I smelt like I was in my great-great- grandma's basement again (1974).
You could tell it was a place that had regular customers, so we seemed out of place.
Our plan was to go have a few drinks and eat. We got our drink order, but the menu wasn't appealing to us, so we had one drink and left.
The best thing about the place was they had Guinness and the original style dart board with metal darts.

This place is so cozy and has a sort of nostalgic feeling to it! Ironically an Irish bar in German Village. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff is friendly.
My friends and I would go on Wednesday nights for 5 they did away with 5 we will no longer be going to this establishment.

I don't live nearby, but I have seen Hey Heys quite a few times as I drive through German Village. I've not had the chance to stop in, but last Friday gave me the opportunity. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and local patrons. Prices were reasonable. It was a great experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Overall, it was a fun and awesome dining experience. The sauerkraut balls were ridiculously good. Marrisa, the bartender, was extremely nice and quick on her feet with keeping the whole bar happy. The karaoke was fun as well. I had a great time.

A great south end family owned and operated neighborhood bar with a wide selection of drinks including cocktails, drafts, and a variety of bottles and cans. All are a dollar off during happy hour. I'm glad they brought in Philgeddaboutit to run the kitchen; finally, someone that provides "bar food"! Friendly bartenders, but sometimes service can be a bit slow. If you visit, know you must order everything at the bar, there's no table service.Pros: It's 300 feet from my house.Cons: It's 300 feet from my house.
Nothing but the best !Great drinks and cold beer !
