I hope I’m reviewing the right place but they cater at my warehouse regularly and I just want to say it makes my night to be able to enjoy quality homecooked food every once in a while here. All of their sides and entrees (mac, collard greens, honey bb and smothered chx, sweet potato) are cooked wonderfully. i only had their cormbread and cookie once but both were amazing, and their mac and cheese is crack. Their staff are so friendly too :)

They have great food but there always closed I be really having a craving for certain dishes call No Answer...Chance driving and they're closed ‍ But the website will say it's open. Please get consistent cooks that's going to run the business. This is a FoodGem. Hope you can understand my point of view

This is my first time visiting Jessie Mae's and let me say...I have NEVER had a piece of chicken or pork chop fried as perfectly than I had today at Jessie Mae's. It has that crunch that u see on TV, but hardly ever get in person. The seasoning was delicious and not too salty. Mac and cheese is also very good. Price was on point and I also love that you can add a piece of chicken or pork chop a la cart. Will definitely return to try more items.

First, I always like to start off with the positive: excellent customer service and the chicken wings were cooked very nicely. When I got into the car, I could smell the barbecue sauce on the wings, and it had such a wonderful smell to it I just could not wait to try. I got the sweet barbecue sauce on the wings and they were very delicious. The plane wings really did not have any flavor, but that was okay because I specifically got the plain wings to add my own hot sauce, and the wings had a nice crunch. I'd rather have my chicken under seasoned than over seasoned. Now, the not so positive: All I have to say about my sides--fries, cabbage, and Mac and cheese--I was totally expecting better with all the excellent reviews. The fries were greasy and very limp. When I got home, I ate a few, and I had to pop the rest in the oven to render some of the grease off of them and to crisp them up a little, still, they were not that great. Now, some people may like overcooked cabbage, but they were way overcooked to my liking that I could not even finish them. Same with the macaroni and cheese they were overcooked just a tad bit to my liking, but again, there may be people who like their macaroni real soft. The flavor was okay, but I have had better. If I am in the area again I will definitely get the barbecue wings again because they were very delicious but I will not make a special trip. The sweet potato pie was okay...I gave it a four out of five only because it was a little bit too sweet for me.

Real friendly people, but a rather limited menu, and only one or two tables to eat at. Definitely aimed more towards carry-out. Only beverages are water and kool-aid.

I had a wonderful experience at this establishment. I was greeted by an upbeat, cheerful woman who was given amazing customer service to the person before me. I really appreciated her gift for acknowledging my presence without taking anything away from the person in front of me. The food is delicious and the service can't be beat. I will be back.
