Was in town overnight and was very happy to find this little gem of a bar. The patrons were friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, the Halloween costume contest was hilarious and the bartender , I believe her name was Melissa,was just simply amazing! I will make sure to stop in every time I am in Westerville from now on.
I was in Columbus for business and ended up staying in a crummy hotel. No bar in the place so I ventured out and "Jimmy's Buckeye Lounge" was within walking distance. I wasn't disappointed. Small place but filled with regulars and really nice folks. I think the bartenders name was Ashley, she impressed me playing David Bowie's "Moonage Day Dream" on the juke box. Great local "home in the wall" dive bar. Mostly locals. Go see Jess behind the bar. She is amazing. Cheap drinks. Several TVs, pool table. Great place to hang out. Great alcohol selection. Lots of canned and bottled beers and seltzers.
