If this place were located in the suburbs, I would be in immense trouble because the bevs (both coffee and alcohol), the books, and the overall cozy vibes could easily rapture me as a regular.
Kafe kerouc wins my personal award for “Best chill coffee shop vibe” - they have good coffee and food, but they also have so many books, records, Knick knacks, games. 1 of 2 coffee shops in columbus to have a chess set. 5 stars. Iced vanilla latte w soy milk.
I wish that I lived nearby because this would be my new favorite coffee shop (or perhaps I should be thankful for the sake of my wallet). I got a coffee cocktail (just $6) and a book. They had indoor and outdoor seating, much of which could be easily moved around to hang out in a group or sit on your own. It felt very comfy and slightly cluttered in a homey kind of way, instead all sleek and overly neat like some hipster coffee shop can be.
