Stopped in at 4pm on 4/14/24 and placed a to go order. I didn't catch the hostesses name but she was incredibly friendly and helpful as I had never been there before today. I did happen to trade some words with Jesse Perkins who prepares the food and he explained some of the process of what goes into a seafood boil and what sets Kai's apart from the rest. I could tell Jesse loves his job, it was apparent the owner treats his staff very well. Jesse was incredibly passionate about what he does and it shows in the food he prepares. I can't rate the atmosphere yet as I havent stayed to eat but the 10 minutes I was there it seemed very enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and I will absolutely be returning.

Wow what a fantastic little crab restaurant! Unassuming in it's strip mall location here and low key dining ambience but they definitely put all that effort back into their crab boil. Our food was out fast and amazingly delicious. We will definitely be eating here again.Side note, we got here a little earlier than the normal dinner rush time and thank goodness, by the time we were done it was packed.Side side note: Only two, unisex, single stall, bathrooms, I waited almost 10 minutes for one to free up, consider going before you go.

Crab legs have ALWAYS been on point. This time, we received our food in 10 minutes(so you know it wasn't freshly boiled). Couldn't even crack my crab legs, they were like rubber. Has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but tonight was a pure disappointment.

Everybody I went with got severe food poisoning. Like clutch a trashcan on the toilet sick. Love that I spent over 130 dollars to sleep on the bathroom floor between getting sick.

The food was good, but the experience was disappointing for the price tag. Walking into this restaurant is kinda a let down. We almost left, to be honest. It felt more like a fast food restaurant than anything. The wooden tables and hard wooden chairs do not exactly convey that you’ll be spending a good amount of money on food. While looking at the menu, I was surprised that the boil did not come with at least a potato and corn. Those items cost extra, along with an egg or sausage add on. I ordered crab legs and my husband ordered mussels with a sausage add on. When we received our food, we were not given a plate or a fork. When I asked about a plate, the server (who was very nice) said we just eat from the bag. I have never been to a seafood boil restaurant where they didn’t give you a plate and fork. The “sausage add on” was just 1 sausage about an inch long. I guess we should have realized since the add on was just $1. The server was nice but we felt very rushed to leave. We were asked several times, by different people, if we needed anything else and if we were ready for our check. The food was good, but it definitely didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth. We won’t be back to this seafood boil restaurant.

This place is an absolute gem! My family is from Savannah, so I have high standards for my seafood boils. The service was spectacular, we barely waited at all, the cocktails were delicious, and the seafood was cooked to perfection. The house Cajun sauce is heavenly. The prices are extremely reasonable for seafood. Will definitely be back!
