If you never volunteered you would not know how amazing it is to help those unfortunate and the staff that does this on a day-to-day basis and they could really use the help from everyone
Carrie's Cafe is a hidden gem for seniors. After filling out paperwork once, elders can get a hot, healthy meal for $1.50. Anyone can eat, but are charged full price. I spent $6.50. There are also cold options. God Bless LifeCare Alliance for offering this to the community.
The hours are so unpredictable. They honestly stop "special orders" at 2pm. Grant it, they're non-profit but they should change hours to clean when they want & need to.
