I highly recommend this tour. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We got to see the distillery process. Samples were ample enough to get a good taste of the product. More samples available in the bottle shop.
Out of the handful of distillery tours we have done, Middle West has been our favorite. We were lucky enough to have the owner Ryan Lang do our tour (the first he had done in 5 years due to a scheduling error that we didn't complain about). He was incredibly informative and his care for the craft was evident. Great conversation, impressive products (I was unaware vodka could actually taste good), and overall awesome venue. Their whiskey has been my favorite out of Ohio thus...
Our first stop in was disappointing because it was early in the day and only the bottle shop was open. The employee working didn't offer the option to sample and told us tasting wasn't available until the bar opened.
We stopped back today and it was a whole different experience. We had a nice flight at the bar and got to try some of their experiments. Then when we came back to the bottle shop later after walking around we got to sample a couple things...
