Plate's Meats over Rice is the real deal! The Chicken over Rice (my favorite) is so good! The chicken is well cooked and tastes great!I can't forget the rice and the sauce...fabulous!! Amazing, simple menu, very affordable, flavorful food, I got the chicken over rice with extra veggies, the rice is full of flavor and cooked to perfection, the chicken is out of this world and the veggies are so delicious, I think they garnish it with cilantro and garlic (taste so fresh). I loved the $8 price, big portions plus affordable.

I ordered the vegetables over rice. I received canned vegetables and rice. That was horrible . There is a picture on the wall of a plate with vegetables and rice that looked good. That was not what i paid for and received. If i could give this place ZERO stars i would.Vegetarian options: If the vegetarian options are that vegetables over rice DO NOT BUY IT. I bought four meals it was actually pretty good I just can't get down with the flavor of the rice I know that's the way Greek rice taste but for some reason I can't do it I taste the nutmeg and cinnamon whatever they use. So if they had different rice they would definitely get five stars. Maybe start offering white rice as a substitution

My wife and I stumbled upon Plate's while on a road trip. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to post about how delicious our meal was. We both ordered the gyro plate. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The meat and sauce were delicious. Everything was fresh. The service was quick (about 2 minutes) and very friendly.
