We have not dined in but have gotten food to go twice. Food was excellent, portions big, restaurant spotlessly clean both visits and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning and hopefully to dine in. Atmosphere is updated and welcoming. This location is not great and the previous hibachi places have not lasted here. I hope it is different for Sakura.

I got takeout from here yesterday and ended up with food poisoning. The yum yum sauce looked off to me, and I should have trusted my instinct not to eat it.

I try not to have my phone out while dining so I apologize for not having visuals…BUT, all I can say is, you MUST try this place for yourself. The food, staff, drinks, atmosphere SUPERB !

I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi meal in the dine in area. The waiter was kind and fast. I enjoyed the soup and salad. The food was terrible. I tried dumping sauce on it. I barely ate anything. When they asked if everything was ok, I told them about the bland and oily food. They got defensive and said it’s the same chef every night. I asked if I could get a discount since I did eat the salad and soup, and they took off a big 3 dollars off the 27 dollar meal. The lady kept badgering me about taking food home, and I had to hurry to the bathroom and was sick from all the oil. I’m disappointed in how I was treated and the food. I will not return.

As we travel across the state passing Columbus we were looking for a japanese restaurant and this place came up and decide to try this place for a quick lunch. Overall, the food is good, the staffs are friendly, the restaurant itself is clean, we enjoy mostly everything. Would be back for sure whenever we pass Columbus next time.

Shrimps tempura is frozen food that was fried. Crab Rangoon had zero crab and all cream cheese. I wouldn’t have ate at this restaurant even if the food was free.

We have been here a few times and usually get the same thing each time. Our last trip there we were surprised to see a 18% gratuity charged for just 2 of us. We weren't aware of this change until it was time to pay the bill. She came over with the electronic machine and showed us the total. It was off quite a bit. So we asked for a print out copy so we can see itemized charges which is when we seen the 18% gratuity. Usually we only see this when there is a big party or lots of kids but just for 2 of us? They also charged us full price for each refill.

Walked in with my 2 kids for an early lunch since I’d been eyeing this restaurant. Instantly noticed there was a very odd smell when we opened the door and it carried on throughout the restaurant. When we sat down, my 6yr old complained of the smell.. I then noticed there was old rice left all over the stovetop that hadn’t been cleaned off. My 4yr old politely asked our server if he was going to clean the food off and he said yes (but never came back to do so)... we were the only ones there and my kids said they didn’t want to eat there bc it was dirty and it smelled.. they only said what I was thinking, so I informed the server and decided to leave without eating. Had high hopes but will not be back.

My husband said this is the freshest sushi he’s had, my hibachi and the egg sauce is beyond amazing… the bar tender also made me one of the best MaiTai’s
