We always enjoy the Slurping Turtle. The sushi presentation is always done well. There’s better sushi options in Columbus but they do have fun and unique rolls.

This is a very lively place with wonderful staff. We only waited 10 minutes on a busy Saturday. My family got the tonkotsu and soy sauce broth Ramen. For my tonkotsu I added tempora shrimp, molten egg, and mushroom medley. They gave me a lot of mushrooms which I loved with my Ramen. For apps we got the duck fried chicken and the gyoza. The star was the chicken, the oil was wondering and stayed on my lips. My only wish is that I added more black garlic to my Ramen. It does come with the oil but it only seemed to be a little. Still wonderful place for my family.

Tried to reserve for 2 earlier in the day but was told they don't do reservations for smaller groups. Fine, but having to having an hour and half for expensive mid food and slow service? Absurd. Do NOT recommend. There are so many more local places around here that so so much better.

This was a 10/10 experience. We loved the service, food and atmosphere. We all orderd the Chahan stir fry with fried rice and shrimp. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic and super fast service! The food is so rich, filling and flavorful. We enjoyed cucumber&avocado rolls and the signature Shoyu ramen.

Update... After experiencing two terrible visits back to back, I sadly would not reccomend this place. Back in the summer months, took my in-laws to dine here for my mother in law birthday. Our food came after people who were seated after us and had already received their meal. As our food finally makes it us, the birthday girl's order was totally incorrect. It happens but no real apology or even compensation.
Most recently, went out on a spur of the moment early dinner. Waited for our server for 15 mins for drink orders. The food didn't taste as good as it usually was, and I am currently editing from the commode... I don't think the sushi was either prepared well or sat for too long.
This is unfortunate and I wish it didnt happen this way.
Prvious Review: Love love love visiting the restaurant for dine in and take out. The food is always great, from the sushi to the ramen. I highly recommend the DFFC ramen and the Boa. Do expect a wait time, typically anywhere from 20 to 30mins at most. They are steadily busy and the atmosphere is lively. My only complaint or critique is the hostess who takes the call in orders is extremely rude for no given reason and lacks concern for accuracy, as I have placed orders with them a handful of times before, and the takeout order is never revised to ensure it is correct; I make sure my orders are correct before leaving. Overall, I always enjoy my time here.

Our server gave us the wrong drink the first time. Our food was wrong and we ordered another drink when we got our food and it took over 30 minutes to get the second drink and that one was wrong again.
We are from out of town and this is our favorite place to get Rhamen, but I feel that the quality of service and food has gone downhill in the past year or so.
