I have been ordering takeout here for the last decade, usually the same order. The beef pad Thai with shrimp for an extra $5. They give you so much shrimp, and the shrimp are good sized. You get good value here. The food isn't authentic but it's enjoyable enough.

Has about any Asian food you could hope for and is one of the best tasting. Get lot of too. Not all of that happy with the big price increase recently but I guess every place is the same, just seems a little more here than other restaurants

Popular place, the crowd was energetic and seemed to be enjoying their orders. My reason for not giving it a better rating is that Phad Thai was very bland (I was not offered a spice-level request) ; it was a good portion. The imitation crab salad was VERY GOOD and also a good portion. Columbus could use more authentic Thai restaurants and it does seem to be an all-around good choice if you can't decide between Thai, Japanese, Americanized, Chinese, or Korean...it is a good choice.

After coming to Tai's faithfully for the last seven years (since I moved to Columbus), I am done. I am a firm believer in talking to management if there is a real issue, rather than just blasting the business on social media. I tried going to a manager first, and I was let down, so here we go: My last visit there was Thursday, April 25th. My partner and I ordered three meals to split/have leftovers to take home- we often do this so we can take a break from cooking for a couple days, as the portions here are large. We ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp lo mein, and pepper steak. Upon receiving our food, I realized that something was wrong with the pepper steak. It tasted off, like it was rancid. I have never, ever tried to return a food item from Tai's before, but we often spend over $50, and neither of us could eat this pepper steak. I walked to the front counter and explained to the young man working what was wrong. Twice he tried to tell a manager, a woman I could see from where I stood. She refused to talk to me and refused to refund me. They offered to write my name down in a notebook and told me I had two weeks to come back and get a dish of equal or lesser value. Having been pretty turned off by the interaction AND the spoiled food, I declined. Not sure why I'd want to run back there after this experience. It's just a bummer that management couldn't even come and talk to me. The whole experience was most unpleasant and left a bad taste in my mouth. Literally. So yeah, Tai's is losing two loyal customers over one thing. Maybe it's a small thing. But it felt big to us. Our real issue was ignored, and that's bad business. Plus, they raised their prices (and no longer include them on the menu!) and food quality has decreased. Feels dishonest.

So good! 7 years of visits and they have never let me down!! Tofu pad thai (I'm not even vegetarian), sweet potato sushi roll, and, the secret hero, kani kama salad!

The Pho was good, but the price keeps increasing each time I go. It would be nice if the price is listed in the menu.

Great taste and large portions. Like the Firecracker Shrimp and Pad Thai in particular. Maybe the only downside is the fact that there are no small tables. Almost all seat 8+.

I've been to Tai's a few times. It's a pretty popular spot. The order process is at a counter and then you seat yourself. I've had a few different sushi rolls, the pho, the miso soup, and perhaps a couple of other things along the way. The sushi is ok, not my absolute favorite place for sushi but they do have a lot of different options that I haven't tried. I definitely enjoyed the pho and miso soup a lot. The miso is heartier than most miso soups you'll find and filled with lots of greenery (seaweed? not sure). They definitely get busy around dinner time so I would advise going in for lunch or giving yourself a pretty generous window if you're ordering takeout. I'm sure I'll visit Tai's again soon and will report back on other menu options as I try them.
