Creole and Cajun food fanatic here. I spend a LOT of time in New Orleans and Montréal (a great Creole food city as well.)
The gumbo was as good as I've had in a long time- the secret is getting that smoke in there and you did it.
My girlfriend had the vegan chili-phenomenal.
Nice people and location.
Can't wait to return!

This was my first time here and it was amazing!!! I did the half & half option of two meal choices plus bread for $11. I had the gumbo and the spinach & mushroom etouffee. My partner had the gumbo and the white bean chili. You get a lot of food for the price, and the service was super quick. My meal was really flavorful and didn’t have much spice (which I was happy with). The bread had a really nice oil (?) spread on it that was mouth watering! I highly recommend Yats!

Yats Grandview offers delicious take-out food with amazing flavors. The red beans and rice with smoked sausage are highly recommended, with red beans perfectly flavored over the rice. The staff at Yats Grandview are very nice and accommodating, providing excellent customer service. They are happy to let customers taste-test before ordering. The owners' daughter is known for her hospitality, often found running the front of the house and handling prep work.
Overall, Yats Grandview provides a great dining experience with flavorful food that will not disappoint. Don't forget to try the extra bread, as it is highly recommended. However, it is important to note that the restaurant is not open on Saturdays, so guests should plan their visits accordingly.
