The Boat House Special Events offers a great river view of Downtown Columbus with ample parking and a conferencing area. Guests enjoy a fantastic view from the patio and can take advantage of happy hour for incredible drinks and appetizers. The food is outstanding, with highlights including the White Truffle Wild Mushroom Flatbread, Seafood Tower, Lobster and Shrimp Linguini, and the Ghosted Cocktail. The menu has something for almost everyone, and the desserts like cheesecake and raspberry cake are reported to be delicious.
Customer service is generally courteous, but there have been some concerns regarding the front of house staff. At times, guests have experienced delays, such as having to ask multiple times for the check or for drink glasses. However, the kitchen staff is praised for their efficiency and quality. The bar is great for events and gatherings, and the ambiance is described as very nice, despite some comments about the continuous pounding beat of music detracting from the dining experience.
