I cannot recommend The Keep enough. Each time we have come, the service has been second to none, the food has been amazing each time, and it’s in a beautiful building. PLEASE take the time to visit this restaurant!
Really enjoyed the Short rib they served as it was a nice treat in the way it was prepared. It included a mix of cooked vegetables and aged grits. My wife’s The Keep salad was very small. Fortunately she ordered a side of Brussels sprouts otherwise she would have starved. Service was excellent, but unfortunately the meal was overpriced. That killed the experience.
Our server was great, very polite, but just a little slow with check-ins. The food took a longer time than expected to be ready and wasn't quite worth the wait. The brussel sprouts were overcooked and seemed a little burnt. Wouldn't recommend it as an appetizer. The french onion soup was very rich and was the only outstanding dish of the evening. The burger, cooked medium, was juicy, but the buns were a little soggy. The fries that came with it weren't too crispy,...
