Very nice atmosphere, modern, cozy, welcoming.
However, the Coffee was one of the worst I had (espresso). Apple cinnamon cakes were stale and covered by fruitflies. I didn't finish either.

Went in on a Saturday, around 5pm. It was dead quiet. Ambiance was great. Ordered a smoothie, PB delight… it was the worst smoothie I’d tasted in my life. Tasted like it had artificial sweetener in it, and couldn’t even taste the PB. Absolutely not worth $13. Hardly worth paying for. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a healthy smoothie. I was also the only person waiting for something from the cafe, the employee took, no exaggeration 15 minutes to make my smoothie after chatting with colleague casually. Not a fan. Disappointing.

Staff was just not nice at all. Made it seem like my presence was an inconvenience, I apparently interrupted a conversation. Food and coffee was so-so. Better to go somewhere else than here, somewhere where people are friendlier.

Please be aware: it takes a while to get food here (regardless of dine-in or takeout), but it is extremely worth it. I have been a handful of times and the food and hot beverages NEVER disappoint. Speaking of, you must try the Hot Chicken Biscuit. You WILL NOT regret it! Also, some other recs….• For non-coffee drinkers like myself, the Rishi Chai• For coffee lovers who want to indulge: Salted Caramel Cuban• For coffee & pastry folks: cinnamon roll (ask for it to be heated + icing & cinnamon; you’re welcome) and any espresso beverage
