The food is phenomenally delicious. The sausage in the Italian Sausage and Peppers is, I believe, the best I've ever had. It was fragrant with herbs and spices before I even got it into my mouth. We shared, so I also had the Crispy Chicken Thighs. They're boneless and breaded, and again fragrant with subtle flavors, and juicy and just delicious. Clearly underrated, with remarkably excellent food at prices that are hard to believe at a downtown location. We had the loaded potato cakes ($10, try half plain), crispy chicken thighs ($10, so juicy & balanced), the Italian sausage & peppers ($11, FLAVOR!), and 2 alcoholic drinks each ($5 per drink) ($55 w/ tax). If I have an excuse to revisit, I will. I eyeballed the chicken parm & Kale salad going by looking ?.

We were going to go to new Spaghetti Warehouse but it closed too early so we looked across the street and saw the Downtown Tavern they were very welcoming and nice and the food was awesome I really enjoyed myself with my daughter and her boyfriend so if you want some good eating and a great atmosphere its the place to be ????
