Great! Kinda pricy

I had terrible service on Father’s Day. My server kept disappearing and I was being bitten by gnats. The “manager” Ervin or Irvin didn’t apologize and said I was the first person to report it everyone at my table was being bitten. Don’t come to this location. They had an employee going in and out the kitchen obviously not working. Terrible place to eat.

Preshious, our server was excellent. Knew the foods,gave great suggestions. Prices good. Atmosphere good. Quiet time of week,Tuesday 😆

The fish and chips were the best 💖. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and seating was immediately available. However, the service was terrible. We were barely acknowledged, and he kept disappearing. The basics like straws and silverware we had to ask for. The check was brought to us without a pen after asking for it at the bar, and our server was told that we wanted our check. The visit was an hour and a half because of waiting for things besides the food. I would give it another chance because of the food.

In my 65 yrs of living in Columbus (growing up near there) I have never been here until today. And can I say what a WONDERFUL experience me and my niece had from the time we opened the door until we left. The loaded potatoes were mouthwatering and the artichoke/spinach dip was THE BEST I have had and I’ve tried a lot. Fish and chips were so plentiful and cooked to perfection and our drinks were amazing. Will I be coming back MOST DEFINITELY. BIG ONE FOR THE ENTIRE STAFF AROUND 7:00p till close to closing.

We eat there while on vacation. The Fried fisherman's platter was delicious and a lot of food. My wife loved the clams. The pictures are of the food after we had already eaten half. We ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms. We didn't love them because it seems they use the same batter for everything. Our waiter was not very good. It took him a long time to take care of things. Overall I would definitely recommend.

The worst Lobster rolls I've ever eaten. Bun not filled, melted butter on top. I'm not sure it was actual Lobster. Twenty five dollars for two.

Met some of The Ethels here. What a great place! I'd driven by it for some time and always wanted to go inside. Loved it!

Just had an amazing experience at Old Bag of Nails in Bexley, Ohio, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our server, Ervin! He was absolutely wonderful—super friendly, attentive, and hustling the whole time to make sure we had the best experience possible. His energy and positivity were contagious, and he truly went above and beyond to deliver outstanding service.

The food? Incredible! Everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You could tell the team in the kitchen was just as committed to excellence as Ervin was on the floor.

Working in the hospitality industry is no easy job, and when you come across a server like Ervin who clearly loves what he does, it makes all the difference. If you’re ever in Bexley, stop by Old Bag of Nails, ask for Ervin—you won’t be disappointed!

Beware of the fish here, because it's not the normal size fish and it tastes different. I was told by the manager "the fish they ordered was the wrong batch size, meaning the fish are extremely smaller and taste different, but you will still be charged for the original size of fish. Don't be fooled, unless you have money to burn.
