New ownership has driven prices completely overboard. We were at the bar during the NFlL Outdoor series and the pricing for a PBR and other can beer was insulting. This classic old school watering hole might have hit its plateau. We were told the prices were purposely more because of the event. Spending nearly $185.00 for drinks is a lot steep.

I started coming on Thursdays with friends for trivia and this place quickly became a main stay for us. Greatly priced drinks and food, amazing bartenders who get to know you, and an inviting atmosphere. As far as dive bars go, I am very happy with this place and would highly recommend!

Great dive bar. It is near campus but at least in the early afternoon doesn't feel like the usual campus bar. Pricing is dirt cheap.They do food in the super old-school way in that it is cooked by the bartenders right behind the bar.

One of the few non-corporate bars left near campus. The owner bartends and is a great guy. Ice cold beer, great old school bar atmosphere. Just a great place to go for a drink (or three). Good mix of people. Hope he can hold on and not be swallowed up by developers seeking to sanitize off-campus with more high rise apartments and Starbucks on the ground floor.
