While attending OSU, I lived on Tommy's pizzas and subs for over 2 years, I returned 30 years later, and the sights, aroma, and tastes came flooding back to me. I remembered how delicious the subs were. I ordered a sub, and that taste I remembered from 30 years came back. It was like I was back in college again. I was so happy that nothing so perfect had changed. My wife took my advice and ordered a pepperoni and mushroom slice. She told me that it was the best pizza she's ever had, and believe me, that's very high praise. Do yourself a big favor and go to Tommy's Pizza and enjoy everything on the menu. They know what works and not to change their menu or recipes. Thank you, Tommy's Pizza, for making the best subs and pizzas. - KM

Tommy’s pizza never lets me down…pizza is always cooked perfectly, which means hot and crispy never soggy or undercooked. The sauce is savory with a hint of sweetness. Toppings are plentiful and fresh. Their prices are reasonable, a bit expensive but the quality makes it worth every penny.I order from the Campus location on Lane Ave and almost always order for pick up. The staff is friendly and helpful. They always offer plates, napkins, silverware, crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese which is a nice touch. The atmosphere is the only thing that doesn’t get the highest of ratings just because it is small, basic and often empty. Honestly, take out is the way to go at Tommy’s Pizza…

Tommy's , on Livingston Ave., was our Friday night thing growing up. That location has sadly closed. My son and I were in the OSU campus area (where there is still a Tommy's) so I wanted to treat him to his papaw's favorite pizza. I was so very disappointed ?. Its not that it was bad pizza and subs. It just wasn't the "Tommy's" I grew up with. There was never cheese on top of the pepperoni which allowed the old world pepperoni to curl up and be browned and crunchy around the edges. The crust is thicker now as well. The sub wasn't as good either. Its not bad, as I said. Just different now. I was anticipating that same great pizza I grew up with?. At least we were already in the area because if I had driven an hour just to go there? Nope. Not worth the gas. For the baby boomers, this review will maybe cause their hearts to sink a little, as the experience did mine. For the younger folks, not so much lol, cuz they don't know what they are missing.

8.50 an Italian sub that was mostly bread. Tommy's used to be the place on campus for a great sub or pizza. It's a shadow of what it once was. Menu had more items crossed off than there was available.

Typical college pizza shop, can get by the slice or a complete pie. Also had subs, cheezee bread, wings and beer. Every thing is good ?

Tommy's pizza is a well known pizza joint and 2 weeks ago I decided to check it out for myself. The onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and italian sub were all great! I had a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was good as well. And the prices were fair. The reason I'm giving Tommy's a 4 star review is I would not recommend the all the way pizza if you like cooked toppings. Our all the way pizza toppings were almost completely raw and it really took away from the rest of the pizza. This might be the style of pizza toppings at Tommy's but it was not my personal preference. Overall I would recommend Tommy's pizza to someone who is looking for yummy appetizers, fair prices, and good pepperoni pizza.

Just pure deliciousness. I'm usually visit the Upper Arlington location, but this one's a gem too! The crust is unbelievably crisp.

I got a large cheese pizza for $17.50. Not only was it expensive, the only good thing about it was the crust which was flakey and cracker-like. It was very greasy, the sauce tasted like plain canned tomato sauce, and there was way too much cheese that lacked salt and flavor. I wanted to try it because the online reviews were great, and it has been around since 1952. But I will definitely not be going back nor recommending it to anyone else.

My favorite pizza in columbus. Good luck figuring out if they are actually open. Their hours change drastically daily. And we've gotten there to find a sign in the door that says "sorry closed" many a time. Such a bummer.
