Love Villanova always have always will. However, when you order online they automatically add a 15% tip for carryout?? That's just not right. It should be the customer's discretion to add it whether they want to or not. I always do, but when it's done in this manner that makes me an unhappy customer. Villanova..... you really should update your app/ online ordering form so the customer can decide on their own if they want to add a tip to carry out orders. Seems a little unethical and misleading to automatically add it. I don't like that

My friend and I came in one night and ordered the hodgepodge appetizer and entrees. I ordered a rigatoni dish and my friend got spaghetti. My friend asked about bread and our server said she normally brings it out with the other dishes. Which i disagree with as if a customer asks for the free bread, just bring it out. And the fact we still had to wait for the bread even after asking was a disappointment. The food was mediocre. Though, service has a huge role in this review and our experience dining in here. The service was bad. She made us feel like, and I quote my friend, “like we are doing her a disservice.” The Italian soup was really good though! That’s the only thing I’d say was good during this whole experience dining here.

Love this place! One of my favorites since high school...I'm a bit older now and have moved out of state but LOVE the fact my favorite Italian restaurant is still here! Food and service always top notch. The Limoncello cake topped off dinner perfectly! Thanks Villa Nova!

Villa Nova can be a bit…much…for people who haven’t grown up with it. There were also some rough years in which someone got a little too crazy with the menu, but things have settled down now.

For those new to the neighborhood: do not come here expecting white tablecloth Italian cuisine. This is the place you come because the kids want pizza, the grandparents want pasta, and you want a beer and whatever is fried the deepest, and you know they’ll do a good job with all of it.

The current version of the menu is pretty much a list of what they’ve got with no descriptions, which makes sense for a place that thrives on regulars. But don’t be afraid to ask for a different sauce, different protein, etc. - some of the specials are like a cooking show challenge to see how the highest number of ingredients can be crammed into a single dish, but you are not a judge, so request what you want.

There’s truly something for everyone, so you really can’t go wrong as long as your expectations are aligned.

Growing up in Italy, I’ve always been surrounded by food made with love, and Villa Nova Ristorante captures that same spirit. I come here often for their classic lasagna and hand-tossed pizza, and every bite feels like a return to family dinners back in Turin. The cozy, old-world atmosphere makes it more than just a restaurant. it fee ls like stepping into a true Italian home

Wedding Soup Saved Christmas. After a 3 year old sneezed right in my face 14 times during the CFP game, I felt that familiar tickle in my throat just 2 days before Christmas! We had 3 family functions, church, people staying with us, and cookies, candy and Chex-Mix to make! I ordered 2 quarts of the Italian Wedding soup on Christmas Eve, Eve and when I say I was miraculously healed, I mean it. I’ve managed to sneak in a bowl each day between the ham and cookies and I can confidently say “what cold?”. It was a Christmas miracle!! Thanks, Villa Nova!

20+ years of consistency says something in this day and age. Their lasagna is the best I've ever had. It's worth at least one visit no matter what part of the city you're from.

First time, and we love this place! Old school Italian dining in Beech wold. Forget the fancy places and swing by here for great priced pizza. There is a huge menu, i am absolutely coming back to try more. After 45 years, there is a strong following and even on Sunday we couldn't fit at the bar and got one of the last tables. Thank you Izzy for the great service!

It's hard to find a good Italian restaurant. But this place will pleasantly surprise you. They have two separate areas: a bar and a dining room. Chicken Parm was delicious! Tiramisu..I would not order again. Prices are very reasonable. Good service.
