I’m so impressed with this gem! I love NOLA food and culture and Way Down Yonder nailed it. The food was amazing, and the coffee and beignets are to die for. Not only is the food good, but the staff is so friendly and welcoming. My daughter and I truly can’t wait to come back. We have a 2+ hour drive and it’s worth it. WELL DONE!
This place is delicious. They have the best beignets in the city bar none. Definitely would recommend.
Finally made it in after wanting to for so long. What better weekend than Jan 7? Beignet sampler was delicious and now we’ll know what to go for next time in, though you can’t go wrong. I can’t wait to try the shrimp and grits and am so happy to have some southern culture in Columbus.

Guests love the NOLA food and culture, with the food being amazing and fresh. Although the wait can be a bit slow due to the made-to-order preparation, many agree that the delectable beignets are well worth it. There is even a live DJ playing music, adding to the lively atmosphere. Recently, customers enjoyed dishes like seafood gumbo, which was flavorful and authentic thanks to the owners from New Orleans, and the portions were generous. The gumbo was so good that some wished for more crab in it. Many visitors find themselves returning again and again, eager to try more menu items such as the potatoes and southern breakfast sandwich, or the shrimp and grits. Overall, the food is fantastic, served hot and quickly, and the staff makes every visit special.
