Zacatecas Restaurant

I really like the food. We've had several items delivered, and we've not been disappointed. (We've only eaten inside once, and the staff was very nice, it was clean, with nice decor.) I particularly love their gorditas. The corn shell is thin, crispy, and not too greasy. We're also fans of the burritos, sopas, beans, and rice. I also recommend the roasted jalepenoes. Back when this resraurant was called Zacatecas, I wrote a very positive review, and I do still like the place. After changing ownership, it's now called El Jalisciense, meaning for the benefit of fellow Gringos, someone from Jalisco state, which is I guess supposed to be cooler than Zacatecas, a much poorer state. Very clean place, great service, its a family atmosphere and an enjoyable dinning experience. The food is very authentic and delicious. Great place to go when you want traditional Mexican food!!!
