The outdoor deck offers one of the most stunning panoramic views in Ohio — endless rolling hills, shimmering ponds, and the distant echo of wildlife. Sit back with your fries and soak in the scenery; it’s serenity straight from the Jedi archives.

The Overlook Cafe and Gift Shop is a convenient spot to grab a meal after a tour. The menu offers a variety of options, including kid-friendly meals like chicken tenders and fries, hot dogs, and corn dogs. Despite some minor issues with ordering and table stability, the service is quick, with meals arriving in under 10 minutes. The fries are a highlight, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoned salt. The cafe is part of a larger complex that also features a gift shop and serves as a hub for guided tours. The knowledgeable staff and open-air safari vehicles make for an amazing and educational experience, bringing visitors up close to a range of wild animals. Guests can also enjoy the children's discovery room with fun activities or learn about conservation efforts for endangered species. The friendly staff and detailed animal information from tour guides like Jody make the visit even more special. Many visitors recommend supporting the local zoo and taking advantage of membership options for savings. After the tour, the gift shop offers souvenirs like postcards and pins, and shuttles provide easy transportation back to the parking area.
