“Frustrating Experience with Drive-Thru Policy

I've been a regular at Starbucks for quite some time and typically place many mobile orders. However, my recent experiences have left a sour taste in my mouth. On three separate occasions, I have been scolded for choosing to go through the drive-thru instead of going inside to pick up my order.

I often change my mind when I see there’s no line at the drive-thru and honestly, it feels like a little perk to be able to grab my coffee without the hassle. It’s a convenience I appreciate, especially on busy days. Yet, instead of being welcomed for making a quick pick-up, I've been met with reprimands that make me feel like I’m doing something wrong.

To add insult to injury, just the other day, I decided to go inside, and there was my order sitting right by the drive-thru window desk! I didn't scold them. I just said, “Thank you.”

Starbucks, I love your coffee and the convenience of mobile ordering, but please reconsider how you handle drive-thru pickups. Instead of scolding loyal customers, why not embrace the flexibility that mobile ordering offers? It would make a world of difference in the customer experience.“
