“An awesome way to spend a Friday afternoon. Both staff members that were in went above and beyond to educate us about our selections and make us feel special! A great way to relax and unwind close to home. Everything had an elevated presentation, and it was such a classy environment. Can’t wait to come back! ??“
“BLU Jazz+ oozes opulence with its exposed brick and modern touches, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels both sophisticated yet delightfully approachable. The downstairs venue (handicap accessible) winks at the golden age of jazz clubs with its elegant design and focus on live music. It feels like a hidden gem, perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.I attended Apollo's Fire performance of 'Taverns of 1610' exploring the Baroque style of Tavern Music throughout the world during this time. First off, fantastic performance - if you have an opportunity to see them, go! Secondly, this venue is uniquely gifted to provide intimate performances. You truly feel like you're at a VIP private performance. You're able to dine-in during the performances as well as enjoy an impressive wine list and mixed drinks. The menu is curated with a limited selection focused on taste and efficiency. I had the steakhouse burger with fries and it was delicious. Seasoned hand cut fries... Mmmm...is there anything better?! However, it would be an injustice to not state that the burger was the burger you dream about, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I'm always saying, "I just want a good burger, where can I find that?"... Now I know the answer.Blu Jazz+, thank you for delivering on that and surprising me with an experience I never knew I was missing out on.Just to put your mind at ease, this is a genuine review from an Akronite who digs a bit of vocabulary flair. No sponsorship, no prompting, just a desire to share my awesome experience. As an independent reviewer, I strive for clear descriptions that paint a picture, while keeping things fair and accurate. I also enjoy providing artistic, yet visually accurate photographs for your consideration (with accurate credit). Mission accomplished, hopefully?Vegetarian options: I know the menu listed Vegetarian & GF options, however, with a limited menu as is, limiting it further will likely leave an either/or option to select between.Wheelchair accessibility: The staff was ready to accommodate my personal medical needs immediately, without hesitation and with extreme care. Personally, I reached out to them and they provided a very handheld approach focused on ensuring I had a fantastic evening with a best approach option and detailed instructions on using the lift.“
“Food and vibes at The River Merchant were so good! Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had, and the added blackened chicken was perfect. Our server Lorelei was great, and suggested leaving our beer cheese behind from the pretzel app for our fries which was such a clutch suggestion. The salmon croquettes were also delicious. Lots of wins at this restaurant, definitely would recommend.“
“Fish and chips were really good. Great thick cut fries. The breading had great flavor and a nice crunch. I bet the chicken sandwich is killer. The wife had the stir fry, which was pretty good too. I liked the fish better, but if I wanted something less fried it's a good option. Price is typical for a sit down restaraunt these days. Glad to see barberton getting some new food options. Hope they do well. We'll be back.“
“We have been to The Revival Room twice for brunch on Sunday and both times the food and service were great! Loved the sausage gravy and masa biscuits and the cauliflower latkes and Turkey pastrami hash. Cocktail menu is interesting and creative - I enjoyed the Lavender "Earl" Palmer - made with Earl Grey infused vodka. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the ambience is a little dated and could be a nicer. Doesn't look like a lot was done since it was Peachtree Southern Kitchen. Maybe a new paint color would help? I would return and try their dinner menu.“
“First time at Tiki Underground, drinks were great and the food was especially fantastic. Chef Justin's "One Bite Kitchen" is killing it, the food is the best around and well worth the money! If you haven't been here yet then it's a must “
