Friendly atmosphere, supported by local people, because the food is very good. The original bar area was completely refinished and is beautiful, looks original. The dining area was also remodeled. “I’ve been in the business of selling and tasting food for the last 17 years, and this by far is the most impressive menu I have ever encountered. The tomato basil pasta was one of the most flavorful pastas I’ve had, and my first ever poke bowl left me speechless. The cilantro aioli on the poke bowl has got to be one of the best sauces I’ve tasted. I am thoroughly impressed.“

“This was the second time to dine at the 1 Food, since I live out of state. Again, it was a top notch experience! The food was excellent, the service was great, and kudos to the bartender! The drinks were outstanding! It was worth the 5 hour drive.“
“Kent needed this place! Upscale vibes without the upscale stuffiness or prices. Very reminiscent of Bar Snack in NYC. Love the cocktails and ramen. Staff is friendly and service was prompt and hospitable. We visited twice while in Kent that’s how much we loved the place! Perfect spot for a date night or girls night or parents’ retreat when visiting campus.“

“We had a wonderful dinner on October 7th with friends. This is the 4th visit to this restaurant, and each time has been very good. We have used the movie suites as well and enjoyed that experience. ON October 7th, our server Brittany was AWESOME, and we will request her in our future visits. Thanks for a great evening, Brittany!“

“The staff is wonderful & the atmosphere is one of the best! I was in the area for medical stuff & found this hidden gem! I will definitely be returning! The food was absolutely delicious & reasonably priced. The restaurant & bathrooms were clean. I highly recommend trying this place.“

“BEST restaurant ever! Jose’ and María are the best! our youngest calls them tío José and TT María (she calls all her aunts TT) Food is amazing. We have been a few times had multiple servers and they are all fantastic! My all time favorite is the burrito Azteca. If you haven’t tried i encourage you to please do it! I promise you will not regret it.“

“I've been back in Akron for over a year and finally found some Italian food with seasoning. I just finished a lovely Calzone that was excellent. I could see all the extra items that I added and the food was fresh. When I ask for extras, I want to see and taste them. Thank you to San Marino for making that happen. It was delicious.“

“This is the best Mexican restaurant hands down. The food is always delicious and the staff is quick and very courteous. We stopped by last Friday to meet up with family and a new little baby girl and we had the best time!! I would definitely recommend eating here!!“

“Went here for the second time and absolutely love it. The drinks here are amazing the attention to detail and the quality ingredients are top notch. The bartenders are welcoming and are on their game I don't know how they memorize all the ingredients in each drink. The price per drink I feel is more than fair for what you get they have a lot of competition with the speakeasy's on the same street and in my opinion they far surpass all of them in drink quality. The place is small and a little loud but it fits and the decorations of this place is like no other. Definitely will keep coming back.“
