Went here for Mother’s Day. Sat out on the patio. It was beautiful. There was music by frank which was really nice. The problem we had was having to wait over an hour after ordering for our food. We kept being told that the kitchen was behind which is understandable but everyone around us including people who came after us had their food within a timely manner. This was our first time to Culp’s and it won’t be our last! Excellent food selection and ambience. We ordered the chicken and waffles, salad, and soup, and want to come back for the old-fashioned soda fountain experience next time. We had spent the morning in Carillon Park and just wanted something easy for lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised!
The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and friendly, and the ambience of eating in 125 year-old street car was unique to say the least. Highly recommend eating here during your visit to Carillon Historical Park.
