This brewery has so much potential! The space itself is beautiful and unique. The outdoor patio area is a great spot when the weather is nice, overlooking the Carillon Park train.But the beer selection is lacking. There were only 4 types of beer available: a cider, a sour, a Christmas beer, and a Kolsch. The website menus need to be updated to the current offerings.
I visited Carillon Brewing this weekend and really enjoyed it! To begin with, the building is gorgeous! It feels like stepping back in time into an old beautiful brewery complete with the smell of a wood burning fire for baking fresh bread. I tried the Porter for my brew. It was pretty good. Was it the most complex Porter I've ever had? No, but it was definitely pretty good. I'd probably stick with the IPA next time.
