Elsa's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
I'm a life long Dayton resident and used to love Elsa's.
I wish now the Sheetz was going in. The quality of food has gone so far downhill this was my last trip to Elsas.

Elsa's Mexican Restaurant in Dayton offers a variety of popular Mexican dishes, with shredded beef tacos being a highlight. The vegetarian options are plentiful and satisfying, and the "Bad Juan" margarita is a must-try, known for being very strong. The restaurant provides attentive service, even during busy times like Mother’s Day weekend, when a large party was seated promptly and served hot, fresh food. The queso is highly praised for its deliciousness, and the tostada remains a flavorful and generous choice. Guests also enjoy dishes like fajitas, which are sometimes overcooked, but overall, the meals are tasty and enjoyable. The lunch buffet is available at midday, though it may be limited and not restocked later in the afternoon. Visitors have praised the friendly service and the quality of food, especially noting the fajita burrito and refried beans. The staff, especially a standout server, is highly appreciated, contributing to a positive dining experience. Some reviews mention the strong margaritas, with the "Bad Juan" and Juanita being favorites, though the food may sometimes be less impressive compared to the drinks. Overall, Elsa's remains a popular spot for tasty Mexican food and friendly service.
