I give zero stars for the Kroger pharmacy in Riverside. You would think that with a brand new shiny Kroger that the customer service would reflect the new store. However, this is not the case. I pick up my Father's medicine from there. Every time I call in the prescriptions I get a time that they will be ready. I go to pick them up after the time knowing life happens. When I go to pick them up, they are not ready. In fact, the pharmacy has not even started to fill the prescription. So I wait. I don't want to "come back in a few hours." More recently, one of the prescriptions I called in apparently got "stuck" in the robot and they would fill it as soon as possible. I also had a prescription sent over fro Miami Valley South in the evening. When I arrived at the pharmacy window, I was told "We are closing soon". When I informed them of my prescription from the ER 15 minutes prior to my arrival, I was told that it wouldn't have been filled. that was that. Fast forward to today, I go to the pharmacy to pick up my medication. It wasn't relady and wouldn't be until after 2pm. I told the technician that I was concerned about the fact that it wasn't filled and asked what if the medication was an antibiotic or another equally important medication? I got a dumb stare and no answer. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager was not there and wou not be there until Monday. That response prompted me to write this review. As a note, while I was waiting to pick up my father's meds, the pharmacy did fill my prescription. I did thank them for that.

This Kroger looks nice on the outside, but isn't really nice on the inside. Before going in, I parked and started to see the kinds of people walking in - just very not put together people so it worried me a bit as I had my kids with me. I walked in and it's giving a lot of Walmart vibes, but almost worse. It's kind of dimly lit in the whole store and having never been in this Kroger before I didn't know where anything was. I was also on edge feeling uncomfortable about the people that were in there. The workers seemed friendly, but as I was going down an aisle and leaned over to look at something a worker told me "to make sure I watch my purse", very serious-like. Basically after that I tried to get out of there as fast as possible. I don't like to feel unsafe in a grocery store, especially with my children. Anyway, I'd steer clear of this location unless absolutely necessary.

I'm from out of the state visiting relatives, and just witnessed the most atrocious behavior from an assistant store manager! I was in the next isle at checkout when an employee started screaming, and I mean screaming, at a customer for not using a divider. The gentleman was explaining the dividers were unavailable for him to reach. The employee, an asst manager named Janet (yes I looked at her badge) went off on an u adulterated tirade of how customers make her life a hell. If I weren't from out of town and in need of the potato salad I was purchasing I would've opened the container and launched it at her face! Shame on you Kroger for allowing that behavior, and I hope the gentleman who was a victim to Janet's hostility sues you!! In this day and age he'd probably get a good amount! shame on you!

Checkout is getting worse by the day. Only one lane open today and six people waiting in the line.I shop here multiple times per week. I like this store because of the personnel. It's not like I don't have choices as there are two Kroger Marketplace locations within 5 miles of me. I do not care about the gas. I will NOT use self checkout. I can and will go to another store. Kroger might want to keep that in mind.If you really insist on using Kroger, go to one of the Marketplace locations. The product selection is better and the checkout time is generally no worse.

1000000% recommend their bakery for cakes. We ordered my sons cake from there last minute and they were able to get us a full Sheet cake, with the Mickey Mouse set ( it usually only goes on circle cakes) for $50. Everyone was so sweet and if there was a problem they communicated that with me. The cake was fresh and tasted so good.
