The old gray mare ain't what she used to be. Been dining there reguarly for over forty years but last night's visit was terrible as have been other recent visits. Bad food and bad service. Will be taking a long break to give them a chance to get back on track
It was a Saturday evening. The place was dark, crowded, and noisy.
But -- the food was excellent! The steak, the green beans, my drink, the dessert, even the bread. It made me want to come back, perhaps on a Wednesday.

I had the ribeye with some friends at The Oakwood Club and it was fantastic! The ambiance was just right, warm, classic, and inviting with a timeless steakhouse feel that made the night special. Perfect setting for good conversation and relaxation.
