My boyfriend and I drove up from Cincinnati because online and on the website it said it was open. We get there and they are closed. Very sad because the food on the google page looked good.

I came by one time to grab a smoked pulled pork sandwich, but I had to pay in cash--which I didn't have on me, as I only had my credit card. The kind lady fixed me that sandwich anyway and told me to just pay her when I next came by. I thought how sweet she was (could've just turned me away, but she didn't). Her reward one day, will be more than repeat business.

Dirtiest place i ever seen in my life. I even told the girl. You all need to close down for a week and clean up. Im talking filthy, everything. I was scared to order anything. I did so she wouldnd feel bad, and threw it away as soon as i left. And she said its a new owner and has no foodservice experience what so ever. This review is late. Cant remember exactly when i went but was within the last year or so. Hopefully someone else has it now because whoever had it at that time shouldnt have those doors open like that

Nobody is answering your phone & you are always closed lately.I ordered 2 sandwiches online & paid for them on Friday Feb 10th 2023.When I went to pick them up you were closed. Not a soul in the place. I checked my bank account and there was $18 pending. On Feb 13th the $18 was paid and I haven't been able to reach anybody since. I would appreciate it if you made this right by me. I did enjoy your food.Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

Place looked really good and smelled even better but I did not eat. Said it was open but I think it was closed or something. They would've taken me but selection of food was limited compared to

This is a 2.5 star review. Yelp says that three stars is Okay. I guess so. Okay-ish for SW Ohio. But not Okay if compared to Texas, Tennessee, the Carolinas, KCMO, etc. The portion of pulled pork was generous. The portions of Mac & Cheese and baked beans w/ham were adequate. The pulled pork was not very smokey. The Mac & Cheese was cheesy and of the "tacky" variety - not creamy, not baked/firm. I could tasty only one cheese, not a blend. The beans w/ham had precious little ham and I question if they were truly made/baked in-house - in a word, unremarkable for a genuine BBQ joint. Only two sauces available; neither was a vinegar based. Two workers. Heather is a dynamo, friendly and wastes few steps. The other worker; nothing like Heather. The menu is extensive. But at noon on a Wednesday, no ribs, no rib tips, no salmon, no mashed potatoes. I will return to try other items. I really want to like this operation, but ...

A weekly stop for me! Truly a place you cannot walk past without wanting to go inside. The smell, the old school lunch counter atmosphere, and the friendly staff invite you in. The flavor makes you come back again and again! Menu options for when my pockets are fat and for when they’re flat. The Club Sandwich is my favorite and it’s big enough to be two meals probably but I’ve never tested that theory cause I got a Midwest boiler ?Parking: One of the few spots Downtown with dedicated free parking

Great BBQ place! Just what you expect from a place that serves old school BBQ. We all had the pulled pork, mac & cheese, and the green beans, excellent! Customer service was great too, they were slammed but managed to keep it all moving! Try it

Went there a couple weeks ago. For a BBQ place it was unimpressive. It didn't smell like BBQ there was no cooking going on. I ordered rib tips and brisket and greens. The greens were in the microwave, brisket was in a steam tray and the rib tips were in an open oven. My greens were room temperature even though I saw him get them out of the microwave. The taste was ok but I probably won't go back. It's too bad because they are close to where I live.

Great customer service. The baked beans were delicious. I ordered Pulled Pork plate with two sides (Cole slaw and baked beans). The cashier/server and manager were awesome. I look forward to eat at this BBQ business again.

I stopped in and ordered a bbq pulled pork sandwich, green beans and fries. The pulled pork sandwich and the green beans were pretty excellent. The fries were undercooked. I’ll definitely be going again but I will be sure to ask that the fries are done more. They have a decent sized parking lot too, so parking is not an issue at all!

Wonderful BBQ and very friendly folks. Pulled chicken was smoky, juicy and tender. Ribs were large with great flavor and cooked to perfection. They also offer ham, turkey, salmon and brisket smoked. BBQ beans some of the best we have found. Indoor seating is limited to two counters and about ten stools. Outdoors there are some picnic tables and a couple small tables with two chairs each. Prices are very reasonable.

This place is the real deal! The loaded fries were.. Perfect.Massive chunks of braised beef, the right amount of sides, onions thick cut fries, topped off with creamy cheesy goodness.Oh, yeah, and two of us had trouble finishing one takeout portion.. (did I already say perfect?)Funny story: People walking past saw how much my dad and I were enjoying it, and didn't leave till they had directions ?! Cannot recommend this place enough! Hidden gem 12/10Kid-friendliness: This is the kind of place where bringing your kid becomes a tradition.Parking: Plenty of space, though. I parked at the Arby's. Dietary restrictions: Unlike so many BBQ places, You can tell the beef here is a priority.. not just an afterthought!Definitely worth trying.
