I just love submarine house cheese steak subs and the onion rings. I stop by there when I get to Dayton and I go back when I leave Dayton. I recommend the submarine house to everyone .
The atmosphere has been consistent for over 30 years so you either love it or hate it. What has been consistent is the quality of the cheese steak sandwich. It is tasty and well made and worth the purchase.

The place had a old-fashioned vibe. I like the open kitchen concept where you can see a long kitchen under bright light. The guy taking my order was slightly awkward, but I mean it was pretty late so it was slowing down quite a bit. Cheesesteak sandwich and onion rings were both hot and tasty. I will give it a 5*.
