“I travel a lot for business, and try to find fun, quirky, local dive bars to patronize wherever I go. With a name like Sinners, it was only a matter of, um, minutes from my hotel before I gave this place a shot. Having been there many times now, I'll go ahead and declare this place an outstanding dive bar, complete with fun people, great bartenders, pool and darts (including internet darts!), and generous pours. Dark, a bit of a throwback to saloons of old, just exactly what a thirsty traveler could want. There's another review on here that complained that it's not a family place. LOL! Duh. It's called Sinners. For a reason.“

“Was in Defiance last weekend with friends. We were looking for a place to have lunch and I had seen on the Valentine Theater site that Ensign’s was where Maag’s used to be and they had a lot of the same menu. Went there years ago, before 1980, and was pleasantly surprised with the lunch. Had the roast beef, knockers, chips & draft beer. Everything was great and the prices are very reasonable. We all had a good time and my friends were happy that I suggested going here. Keep up the good work!“
