Whit's Frozen Custard of Delaware

This Whit's location used to be my favorite but it has really gone down hill in the past 2 months. They have switched technology systems 2-3 different times in the past few months and it doesn't seem as though they trained any of their employees on how to use them and they just learn on the fly. They have also gotten skimpy on how much custard they provide. On several occasions I have gotten a small and mini Whitser and the only difference between the two is the size of the cup. Both have the same amount of custard but the mini is a full cup and the small is about 3/4 full. I've had a similar experience with a 1 scoop vs 2 scoop cup. The funny thing is that the employees that aren't filling the larger sizes aren't new and they didn't do this prior to 2 months ago. It's as if they are ripping off their loyal customers to pay for the numerous systems they have wasted money on. I'd strongly recommend going to one of the other franchise locations around the area.

Friendly and well-trained staff, a bit of indoor seating…and of course the amazing custard! This location always seems to have a good selection of flavors available as pints and quarts in addition to the standard flavors of the week and everyday menu.

Went there with my kids who are indecisive and the workers was very patient while we figured out what we wanted very friendly environment and overall fast service will definitely be going back

Stopped by Whit’s and went straight for the Sea Salt Caramel, and wow—no regrets! The creamy custard texture hits different, and the balance between sweet caramel and that subtle salty kick is chef’s kiss. Every bite was smooth, rich, and just melts in your mouth. Definitely not your average scoop—Whit's nailed the flavor and the quality. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and get a cup (or two).

The young ladies working at the Delaware location on Wednesday evening were the kindest and so hard working. They were swamped, but kept their cool and carried on. So awesome to see.
