Great place to relax and unwind off the turnpike. Excellent food and nice people even thou they’re “buckeyes” GO BLUE
I would have recommended this place before tonight! I used to come in all the time! First time in about a year or so. Sadly food service was slow…. If that would have been the only issue I would have overlooked it. Kids burger was dry but I couldn’t even cut the bottom bun! Not one out of the three are more than 1 bite of the Mac and cheese. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger because I have had them before. So disappointed country fried steak tougher than nails.

Winchesters Restaurant and Saloon in Delta, OH is a great small town eatery. The food is fresh and hot, with a great selection of meals. The Jalepeno Bacon burger and hand breaded onion rings are fantastic, and the protabella appetizer with spicy ranch is a must. The 12oz chopped steak dinner is delicious, made from fresh hamburger, tender and juicy, covered in beef gravy and grilled onions with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The house made coleslaw is sweet and creamy. The fish sandwich is pretty decent, and the rib eye steaks are the most tasty. The French onion soup is loved, and the cowboy melt is enormous. Great margaritas and adult beverages are available. Service is excellent, and the pricing is rather nice and affordable. The restaurant is clean with well stocked restrooms. The atmosphere is terrific and welcoming, with employees who have worked here for years. It is usually not busy during the week, but Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest days. Definitely worth the stop on the Ohio turnpike.
