Minus one star because my dad is a huge beer fan and when he asked the bar tender to choose the flight for him, he was a real prude about it and did not want to do that. While I'm keeping the above message intact, the original "service" 1 star review really was an angry culmination of repeated order delivery errors from a multitude of resturants, not just Barelys. In fact, we still ate our meal the next day (with newly acquired sauces) and I have to admit the food was awesome. Additionally, we received a very friendly and prompt response from Jason the GM who graciously accepted the feedback and pledged to spread my frustration, so it's only right to update the service to 5. Mistakes happen, and yes I was angry, but their immediate and professional response deserves a rescore. We will be giving Barleys another go and I'm confident my future review with be 5 stars across the board, from the start.“

“The long tables and benches were unique. I was a bit challenged moving the bench and sliding in past the table leg, but I was successful. The food was great. The wife enjoyed her glazed salmon, along with her potato pancakes appetitizer (she loves these). The Cap City Spatzle was very good and I would have it again. However, should we return, I'll give the "wurst" items a try. The noise level was a bit much for us old folk. I felt I was yelling at my wife when talking. Overall, it was a great experience and something we'd do again.“
