“Fantastic spot with old pub atmosphere but cleaner. Beers were out of this world, all classic German, Czech and Belgiam styles executed with finesse and skill. Our bartender Rory was a Dame and a Scholar. Finger food like nuts, pretzles and even pizzas available (Not a full kitchen) l. Just enough to get that 3rd LUKR poured lager from the hand of a specialist. I'll definitely come back again.“

“Paid $80 for an uber eats order of wings and fish and chips. Ordered extra blue cheese and extra tarter sauce. Both things central to our meal...didn't get any sauce. This is extremely annoying and frankly I'm absolutely sick and tired of basic things like this getting missed on orders. The meal is literally ruined over something so minor...do better.

While I'm keeping the above message intact, the original "service" 1 star review really was an angry culmination of repeated order delivery errors from a multitude of resturants, not just Barelys. In fact, we still ate our meal the next day (with newly acquired sauces) and I have to admit the food was awesome. Additionally, we received a very friendly and prompt response from Jason the GM who graciously accepted the feedback and pledged to spread my frustration, so it's only right to update the service to 5. Mistakes happen, and yes I was angry, but their immediate and professional response deserves a rescore. We will be giving Barleys another go and I'm confident my future review with be 5 stars across the board, from the start.“

“We loved the rebranding of this brewery! I’m a big sour girlie, so 4 sour options made me excited. Beer was all 10/10 delicious! The outdoor space is gorgeous, large, & kid friendly. From the very beginning, Debi made the entire booking and planning process feel effortless. She was responsive, organized, kind, and incredibly easy to work with, which made a huge difference during the chaos of wedding planning. Every detail felt thoughtfully handled, and the process was seamless from start to finish.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful: warm, stylish, and uniquely Columbus. So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the space was and how perfect it felt for the occasion. The atmosphere struck that ideal balance of elevated and comfortable.

The food was outstanding and exceeded expectations across the board. Multiple guests went out of their way to tell us how delicious everything was, which says a lot for a wedding-related event. We also appreciated the flexibility and variety of the food and beverage packages.

What truly elevated the evening, though, was the staff. Everyone was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm throughout the night. Drinks were always flowing, guests were taken care of, and the entire evening ran smoothly without us ever having to worry about a thing.

If you’re looking for a venue in Columbus for a rehearsal dinner, wedding event, corporate gathering, or special celebration, we would recommend The Hickory Room at Wolf’s Ridge without hesitation.
